The attractive setting of Harrogate Cricket Club was the location for RALPHH to make its second defibrillator presentation of 2026.
Yorkshire Seniors Cricket runs two Yorkshire Ridings teams for Over-60’s and one for Over-70’s. Matches take place across the large county, including grounds at Castleford, Batley, Driffield and Harrogate. There are 60 registered players and a total membership of more than 90. Playing against other counties, the Club is regularly involved in the knockout stages of the countywide championship.
Among the members are two ex-County professionals, whilst others made their mark in cricket in the impressive Yorkshire and Lancashire Leagues.
Receiving the gifted defibrillator from RALPHH are John Buttle (left), Chairman and 2nd Team Captain of the Over 60’s, Rob Wynne. Play for the 2026 season starts on 28th April with the club looking to continue to grow its membership.

RALPHH has made a significant impact on Seniors Cricket in the last 12 months. In total 10 teams across the country have benefits from the gift of a defibrillator from the national charity, which was formally established in August 2019.
