RALPHH has stepped in to help a local village cricket club have a defibrillator available, in case of emergency.

Selsted Cricket Club is based at Stockham Lane, Selsted which is near Dover. It is run by volunteers, under the chairmanship of Nigel Whithead, who contacted RALPHH and asked for help. The popularity of cricket has been assisted this summer by the exciting test series between England and India and the sport has attracted new players of all ages.

RALPHH has provided defibrillation equipment to many cricket clubs since the start of the summer and is keen to see this number grow into 2026. The charity also continues to be busy in helping watersport clubs with both a Kent rowing club and a Nottinghamshire sailing club added to its last of partners in the last month.
