Willesborough Cricket Club is the latest organisation to partner with the charity RALPHH to provide defibrillation equipment at its ground in Hythe Road, Willesborough, Ashford, Kent.

Established some 150 years ago, the Club moved to its current site in 1970. It draws its membership from across the Ashford area and recognised the near to have a defibrillator available for not only players but also walkers and other visitors close to the ground. With this in mind, contact was made with RALPHH to provide a free defibrillator as well as a successful application to the British Heart Foundation for the outer casing that combines security and keypad access in the case of an emergency.

Making the presentation was RALPHH Trustee Connor Rawlins and shown left to right are: Gary Ealham, Club Treasurer; Luke White, Secretary; Connor Rawlins; Lesley Barron from North Willesborough Community Forum; and Bob Ades, Club Chairman and a member since the 1970’s.

In December 2024 RALPHH made a further presentation in Hythe Road, Willesborough, which was to the Norton Knatchbull School.
