RALPHH has broken new ground by working in partnership with the England Seniors County Cricket teams.

Donation of defibrillators have been made to both the Over 60’s team and the highly successful Over 70’s – current holders of both the World Cup and The Ashes. A presentation was made of the two machines to Christopher Lowe, England Cricket Seniors 70+ Team Manager (right) at the Maidenhead and Bray Cricket Club by Richard Allen, Chairman of the Robert Allen Life Promotion and Health Hearts Trust (RALPHH).

The defibrillators will be available to be used at matches in England as well as overseas tours. This includes the Over 70’s defence of the World Cup that takes place in February in New Zealand.

The England teams are drawn from 34 counties with an estimated 2,800 players over 60 playing the game on a regular basis. Games can draw large crowds with some 800 people attending the World Cup winning match in this country.RALPHH has broken new ground by working in partnership with the England Seniors County Cricket teams.
